JustTextGiving now free to NI Charities

JustTextGiving is now open to Northern Ireland charities. JustGiving responded positively to a enquiry from NICVA's Head of Governance to include NI charities in the UK scheme.

NI Charities are now eligible like the rest of the UK for JustTextGiving following a request to JustGiving to review the process from NICVA. The decision will come as wellcome news to organisations in Northern Ireland who wish to benefit from the text giving scheme publicised nationally on TV.

Sally Chambers from JustGiving has informed NICVA that so long as charities are listed on the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland website on this page: www.charitycommissionni.org.uk/Library/ccni_files/List_of_Organisations_110629.htm they are eligible for a free JustTextGIving account.

NICVA's Governance and Charity Advice Manager Denise McCann approached JustGiving to ask them to include NI charities in the scheme.
